Medi-cal Fraud Does anyone mind the store?

There was a time when I had otitis media in the left ear. Once the diagnosis was known I was told to go to the hospital for a picc line placement. I'm disabled & wheelchair bound. 

At the hospital they had no idea why I was there. Al squared out I was admitted & had a picc line done. Medi-cal requires a 3 day stay but instead of being released I was moved to an acute care facility close to my home. 

At 50 I was in a nursing home but no one knew why. To make matters worse the picc line wasn't used. Mother's Day arrived & my outing plans with my family was derailed.  I was forced to do physical therapy that increased the excruciating pain & made the full body tremors more violent. 

I sat in that home for over a week, unable to eat the foul meals that 1 day came with a roach! YUCK!  

All the WASTEFUL services, heparin shots (really?),  the cost of the room & PT weren't needed. I got so furious over the blatant fraud & unused picc line that I checked myself out at day 9. 

Being disabled since 2006 & dealing with numerous neurological symptoms, 24/7 high level pain, etc I later questioned why I had PT & nursing services.  All the nurses did was take my blood pressure & I was unable to do PT. 

Needless to say, the cost & useless services were being falsely provided. The only service honestly provided was a mobile podiatrist I saw once. 

Who monitors these services? My definite fraud case rendered hundreds of thousands. That's 1 definite case of wasted money for services that were never provided. 

The 3 day hospitalization for a surgical procedure of a picc line implanted for 2 weeks without use began in fraud. Over a week in a nursing home to sit there ended in fraud. PT & nursing care continued the fraud!  

Wasteful way to utilize government benefits!  Imagine the fraud that occurs in prison facilities? Murderers get free food, health & dental care providing more avenues for Medi-cal fraud!  

Medicare requires a percentage for self pay for disabled & retired folks who live on very limited funds. Part D requires a percentage as well. They also pay upfront, via social security, to use Medicare & prescription services. From experience, often surviving on top ramen, toast & eggs to make it month to month. Take from disabled & retired folks then provide free benefits to criminals where  fraud potentially exists. 

What's really going on?  Does any one audit Medi-cal?  How do we just give away trillions a year without question?  #medicalfraud
